Invader Zim: Manifest Doom is a comic taking place after the events of Invader Zim, written and drawn by an artist known as Happy de Guzman. It has been stated she would update the comic monthly, but few pages had appeared. The comic was on hiatus until Bleedman announced that he would continue the comic in place of Happy. The comic got a new page on July 2014, nearly four years since it last got updated with a new editor, NeoEdensKing.

As of April 8, 2016, the comic came to its end again. Invader Zim: Manifest Doom's writer, NeoEdensKing said in the last page: "And with this Invader Zim Manifest Doom comes to an End. Leaving more questions than answers but all in all a half way decent platform in the sand for what’s to come."

As of 2020 the comic remains without an update.

Story

Zim was running around in the city and called for GIR who wasn't seen anywhere. Meanwhile, Dib, who was a few paces behind Zim, introduced himself and told about how the world is in danger. Suddenly, Gaz broke through a wall and tried to attack Dib, who immidiatly ran away from her. He caught up with Zim and asked where GIR was. Gaz then found an Irken weapon and attacked Zim and Dib with it, but they dodged it. Finally, GIR arrives but then Gaz reacts by grabbing an Irken boomerang, throwing it at GIR and ends up cutting off his arm. Zim catches GIR and flees swearing revenge on the humans. Gaz grabs Dib and slams him to the ground because he destroyed her game handheld, until Tak appeared to say is was beneath her to go berserk about it, yet understandable. Dib took this oppertunity to escape his sister.

Planned Revival and Full Cancellation

After its April 2016 cancellation, Manifest Doom remained dormant until BenjiFox, a passionate member of the Snaffu community, approached Bleedman to continue the series with himself as writer/editor replacing NEK. Benji began work on new scripts and content in 2017.

On March 23, 2020, it was revealed on the Snafu Unofficial Discord that BenjiFox had been fired from his position, without any new pages or announcements made about the comic in the interim. Reasons for the firing remain sketchy, with everything from allegations of script leaking to outright toxic behavior. Unofficial Snafu Discord admin RadicalCola made these conflicting claims public but refused to elaborate on any evidence, if any, to support the firing of BenjiFox.

Bleedman meanwhile stated in direct conversation with BenjiFox that BeeAre [1] was somehow responsible for informing his decision, contradicting the Unofficial Snafu Discord. BeeAre has yet to make any comment on the matter.

With BenjiFox's firing, it would appear that no further plans to continue Manifest Doom exist and the comic remains cancelled.
